SkillSpot is a family of software products operated by Mir Image Creations, LLC ("Mir Image Creations," "SkillSpot," "we," "our," or "us").
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, safeguard, and retain information when you access or use SkillSpot-branded mobile applications, web applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
For purposes of applicable data protection laws, Mir Image Creations, LLC is the data controller for information processed in connection with your independent personal use unless otherwise stated. Our role and obligations for information processed in connection with school or organizational use depend on applicable law and the actual arrangement, including any governing written agreement. Information processed on behalf of a school may be subject to different obligations from information processed for your independent personal account. Neither use of the same login nor affiliation with a school team, by itself, determines our legal role for every item of information.
This Privacy Policy applies to:
This Policy does not apply to third-party websites, marketplaces, or services that are governed by their own privacy policies.
We operate SkillSpot according to the following principles:
You may provide or generate information when you create an account, sign in, subscribe, or contact us, including:
Physical limitations, injury descriptions, and some accessibility preferences may reveal health or other sensitive information. The optional physical-profile feature helps adapt golf guidance to considerations you choose to disclose. Section 4.12 explains its inputs, purposes, processing, and controls; Section 6 explains relevant AI processing.
When you use the Services, we may collect the information needed to provide the features you request, including:
Certain optional features let you capture or upload media when you choose to do so, such as swing videos or scorecard photos.
You control camera and photo library permissions through your device settings and may revoke access at any time.
Optional Genmoji and sticker avatars. When avatar selection is available, choosing a Genmoji or supported still sticker sends the selected image to SkillSpot. Any additional image types must be expressly offered by the selection control. We retain one small processed still image, its account or team association, and technical information needed to display and manage it using Google Firebase and Google Cloud infrastructure. The original upload is processed rather than retained as an original file; embedded location and other unnecessary file metadata are removed. This feature reads only the content you select; it does not request your full photo library, keyboard history, or image-generation prompts.
Personal avatar images are delivered to signed-in viewers with a permitted Connect identity audience, such as a shared Crew, visible Group activity, an eligible Spotlight connection, or a published course score. A team avatar is available to authorized team members and is managed separately from the selecting coach's personal avatar. Saving an avatar does not join a group or change practice-sharing choices. Authorized personnel and service providers may process the image to operate the feature, address support requests, or investigate reports. SkillSpot does not send these avatar images to Gemini for coaching or image generation, use them for facial recognition, or use this feature to train a general-purpose AI model. A keyboard or device provider's creation of an image before you select it is governed by that provider's own practices.
Certain optional features let you speak instead of typing, including Quick Take and Ask Mo voice input.
We collect location from your device when you grant the relevant permission. We may use it for course identification, weather context, and GPS-assisted round features.
We also process course names, addresses, selected Home Courses, and country or region information you enter or select. Those choices can provide location context even when device-location access is disabled. Manual alternatives may be available.
Selecting a Home Course or country is separate from choosing to display it to other golfers or include it in a country summary. Those choices do not publish your device's precise location.
When you enable notifications or use the Services, we may collect limited technical information, including:
To support offline use and continuity across sessions, cached game plans, live scorecards, round state, and limited authentication or session state may be stored locally on your device and synced when connectivity returns. We may also store onboarding progress, cached chat state, notification state, and similar operational data.
Supported Connect and Teams views, including previously loaded shared activity or team records, may be downloaded for offline reading for up to seven days from the last successful check. Saved views are associated with the account and connection used to obtain them. They may be older than current server information: a remote withdrawal or membership change cannot immediately update a disconnected device. Access is checked again when connectivity returns, and a saved view does not grant permission to make a server change. Some sensitive controls and records are not available offline.
Local storage may also contain unsent sharing drafts, saved audience choices, settings awaiting synchronization, and pending supported actions. A draft is not a published share. Pending actions remain subject to current eligibility, permissions, and validation when synchronized.
Avatar images may be held temporarily in app or browser memory while displayed. This avatar feature does not create a persistent offline image library; an initial or team letter appears when an image is unavailable.
When you use group rounds, linked-user features, shared scorecards, or invite links/codes, certain information you submit may be visible to other participants in that round or group. This may include your display name, player label, scores, scorecard entries, quick stats, round status, and related group or event details. Participant-entered information may sync across group members to support shared scoring and round functionality.
Invite links and access codes are shareable access mechanisms. Share them only with people you intend to include in the round or group.
When you use SkillSpot Golf: Teams ("Teams"), our team coaching and coordination features, we collect information needed to administer your team and provide its features. Depending on your role and the features used, this includes:
Some information is provided by a coach or another authorized participant rather than by the person it concerns. A coach may create a roster record for a player who does not have a SkillSpot account. That roster record does not create a sign-in account, establish the player's consent, or automatically expose the player's personal SkillSpot history.
Optional drill feedback, including whether a drill felt effective, is linked privately to your account so you can correct or remove your contribution and we can avoid counting one golfer more than once for the same reviewed drill version. When enabled, helpfulness summaries show the percentage of eligible adult golfers who answered Yes out of those who answered Yes or No, after at least five golfers respond. Unanswered attempts do not count. These summaries do not identify respondents or publish individual answers. Earlier feedback is not automatically added.
Named milestones and drill recommendations require a separate audience review: golfers who Spotlight you, selected Crews, or selected Groups. Spotlight choices remain private and continue after a shared practice area ends. They do not send an alert or grant access to old Crew or Group content. Only you can see your count of eligible golfers who Spotlight you. Small counts may make changes recognizable in a small circle. Optional saved audiences preselect a future draft; they never publish practice, change existing shares, or remember score disclosure.
When sharing feedback is active, accepted practice can be linked privately to the specific recommendation that led to it, using the same reviewed drill and instructions. Only the author sees totals after at least five eligible golfers complete that drill, and helpful totals require at least five explicit answers. Views, saves, unanswered practice, and alternative drills do not become helpful answers. Encouragement retains its Crew or Group context.
These account-linked records and saved choices are included in personal export and account deletion; they remain private while retained for corrections and replay protection. Removed answers cannot return through an older retry. Earlier practice is not automatically attributed.
Connect includes social and shared golf features reached throughout the app. We process the information needed for the features you use: chosen names and avatars; Crew and Group memberships and roles; invitations; participation dates; sharing permissions and saved preferences; selected progress, milestones, drill results, shared cards, recommendations, and motivation; and related operational records. Reports, blocks, and moderation reviews may include information you submit, relevant content references, and records needed to investigate and enforce restrictions.
Course features may process Home Course and country preferences; submitted course names, locations, scorecard information, and review requests; scores or conditions you choose to contribute; and related corrections or withdrawals. A shared course score may include your Connect identity, played date, course and tee setup, gross score, and supported net-score information. Handicap and rating information used in a net calculation relates to that round. Conditions records retain an account connection internally so you can manage them and we can apply participation rules.
Our separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy describes the health-related information associated with these features, its sources and recipients, and applicable requests and appeals. This subsection summarizes the physical-profile feature.
What you choose to provide. Physical Fitness in Settings lets you optionally describe current or past concerns involving your back, knees, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, or ankles; your mobility and activity level; age and height; and a short note about other physical considerations. We receive these details from the choices and text you submit. You may also disclose a limitation in a message to Mo or a support request. The physical-profile feature does not request medical records, a diagnosis, or information from a healthcare provider. Include only the information needed for your golf guidance and avoid submitting another person's sensitive information.
Why it is used. Relevant limitations help tailor golf practice, including drill selection, movement range, intensity, volume, and instructions intended to reduce avoidable strain. Coaching may also use derived movement measurements as described in Section 6. These features do not diagnose or treat an injury, establish medical fitness, or guarantee that an activity will not cause or worsen an injury. Leaving an optional field blank does not establish that every activity is suitable for you. Follow qualified professional advice about your own limitations.
Where it is processed. Submitted settings may be saved with your account and in local or pending-sync settings. Relevant limitations and the coaching context needed for a requested feature may be processed by our cloud and AI service providers described in Sections 6 and 8. Messages, derived coaching context, saved plans, and analyses may also contain health-related details you supplied. Team or Connect membership does not by itself disclose your private physical profile to coaches or other golfers. Information you deliberately include in shared content follows the audience of that content.
Your choices and earlier records. You can choose not to use this profile, deselect injury areas, clear the optional note, and change supported values in Settings → Physical Fitness. Some choices start with default values; they are not medical findings or confirmation of fitness. Changes awaiting synchronization take effect in the account after they are successfully synchronized. Editing a profile does not automatically rewrite existing plans or remove earlier conversations, coaching memories, analyses, backups, or provider-held records. Use the available record and account controls or contact privacy@skillspotgolf.com to request access, correction, deletion, or help stopping further use of health-related information, including information in earlier coaching context. Applicable legal permissions, request procedures, and retention limits remain in effect.
We use information collected through the Services to:
We do not use your information to make legal, medical, employment, credit, or similarly significant decisions about you.
Certain coaching and analysis features are powered by Google Gemini, an AI service operated by Google LLC. When you use these features, relevant data is transmitted to Google LLC for processing. Google LLC processes this data subject to its applicable service terms and data protection obligations.
Depending on the feature you use, the following types of data may be transmitted to Google Gemini:
Ask Mo requests may include your current message and a limited selection or summary of earlier conversation context, including context retrieved from a saved conversation. Relevant recorded practice measurements, personal course-learning information, or a drill or shared activity you ask Mo to consider may also be included where supported. This does not give other golfers access to private coaching context. Current voice-input and swing-analysis flows do not send raw audio recordings or raw swing video files to Google Gemini. Transcript text, derived swing information, scorecard images, and document content may be sent as described above. Selected avatar images are not sent to Gemini for coaching or image generation.
Swing analysis processes movement measurements and biomechanics for golf coaching. These records can be personal information when linked to your account or a team player. SkillSpot does not use them, uploaded media, or voice input to recognize a face, verify a person's identity, or identify someone using biometric characteristics.
If you enable Live Activities or similar system-level features, SkillSpot may display limited round or scoring information on your device lock screen or other system surfaces. This display uses only the functional round data already active in your session. You can manage these features through your device settings.
Separately, enabled push notifications may display message titles and text on a lock screen, notification center, connected device, or other surface controlled by your operating system. Messages may reveal that you use SkillSpot or participate in a team, Crew, Group, practice activity, or round. Anyone who can see those previews may see that information. Manage notification previews and connected-device display through your device settings; in-app sharing choices do not hide an already displayed system notification.
Where required by law, including GDPR and UK GDPR, the legal basis depends on the purpose and information involved:
Health-related information may require an additional condition under Article 9 of GDPR or UK GDPR, as well as a legal basis above. Where explicit consent or another additional permission is required, merely accepting these Terms, creating an account, or reading this Policy does not supply it. Contact privacy@skillspotgolf.com about the basis applicable to a particular use, to withdraw consent, or to request that we stop using optional health-related information. Withdrawal does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful; deletion and any continuing lawful retention are considered separately.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use third-party advertising SDKs for cross-app tracking.
We share relevant information with service providers and platforms to support infrastructure, authentication, cloud storage, analytics, AI processing, mapping/geocoding, notifications, security, and billing. Some process information on our behalf, while platforms and marketplaces may also process information for their own disclosed purposes. Current provider categories include:
We use applicable service terms and data-protection commitments for provider processing. Providers may also maintain security, abuse-prevention, billing, or legally required records under their applicable terms; platform and marketplace services may have their own privacy practices. We do not promise that all provider records are erased when an individual request ends. Service providers may change as the Services evolve; material changes will be reflected in an updated Privacy Policy.
YouTube playback. Instructional videos may play through an embedded YouTube player or open on YouTube. YouTube serves that content directly and may receive your IP address, device or browser information, referring origin, playback activity, and information collected through cookies or similar technologies under the Google Privacy Policy. YouTube may display advertisements or other third-party content. We use privacy-enhanced embedding where supported; it does not eliminate all collection by YouTube. Your optional SkillSpot product-analytics preference does not control YouTube's separate processing. Review the YouTube Terms of Service before using these features. Contact privacy@skillspotgolf.com about instructional links or playlist records stored in SkillSpot, or to exercise your rights concerning those records.
We may disclose information where required to:
When handling a copyright notice, counter-notice, or similar rights claim, we may provide relevant allegations, content references, and the contact information or declarations needed for that process to the affected uploader, claimant, authorized representatives, or authorities as required or permitted by law. Submit only information needed for the claim; a rights notice is not a private coaching message.
Your individual account and team affiliation. Your SkillSpot account remains your individual account when you join a school team. You do not need a separate school login merely to participate in Teams. The general provisions of this Policy continue to apply to your personal use, and this subsection explains the additional processing and sharing associated with team participation. School affiliation does not give the school or its coaches general access to your personal account.
Team-associated information. Information used for team participation includes your membership and role, roster information, assignments, completion status, team-entered activity and results, and team publications. Some identifiers also connect those records to your individual account. A personal result used in a supported shared team activity may create a separate team-associated record; it does not make all of your personal history available to that team.
Coach-captured swing analysis. An authorized coach may record and analyze a swing for a player on the team. The recording flow derives swing measurements and signatures locally; raw swing video files are not uploaded to SkillSpot or sent to Google Gemini through this flow. Derived swing information and relevant team-profile calibration, such as height, handedness, and skill level, are processed using the same AI analysis pipeline used for individual swing analysis.
Successful coach-generated analyses are stored as team records, including the selected player, capturing coach, analysis, recommendations, selected drills, and related action records. Authorized team coaches can reopen those results, including results not yet shared with the player. Coaches may deliberately share a result or assign selected drills. For a player with an individual account, accepting a shared swing result creates a separate analysis in that player's personal history. Merely recording or sharing a swing does not import it into the player's personal history. A managed roster player without an account has team records rather than personal account history.
Deleting a personal analysis, leaving a team, deleting team-associated information, and deleting an account are different actions. Players ordinarily keep deliberately accepted personal analyses when team access ends. A separate team or accepted personal copy may remain unless included in the applicable deletion process; that product behavior does not exempt a copy from applicable school-covered deletion obligations. A coach's departure or account deletion does not necessarily delete analyses of other players. School requests concerning covered records are handled under the applicable school arrangement; this does not give schools general authority over unrelated personal information.
Who can see team information.
Joining a team enables the sharing needed for that team's features. Authorized coaches can see roster information and team-specific information used to administer coaching, including assignments, assignment status, team-entered results, and permitted team summaries. Information you or your coach enters into a shared team activity may also be visible to participants authorized to view that activity. Visibility depends on the activity and role; not every team member receives the same access.
Team membership does not by itself give a coach unrestricted access to your personal SkillSpot account. It does not grant access to your private conversations with Mo, private personal notes, physical-limitation details, or your unrelated personal practice and round history. Team-specific results and completion information are distinct from that unrelated personal history.
Coach review and summaries. Authorized coaches may review permitted shares, link eligible rounds to a published team event, classify them as tournament, qualifying, or practice results, and view coach-only per-player and combined calculations. The current Shared Results Summary calculates totals and averages from permitted evidence without an AI-provider request. It describes the shared subset, which may be incomplete, and is not necessarily an official team counting score. Player Results does not automatically share later activity, grant teammate or public leaderboard access, or expose private notes, Mo conversations or narratives, health details, precise GPS data, swing media, or other golfers' unshared personal results. Sharing a result does not by itself satisfy any separate permission needed for an AI feature.
Detailed-round permissions. The detailed-round preview identifies the selected team and named coach recipients. Permission is tied to the reviewed round version and the player's and recipients' membership periods. A newly added coach does not automatically receive an earlier detailed-round share. Changed or deleted source rounds and ended permissions are withheld from current detailed-round reads and event calculations; a corrected result requires a fresh review and sharing action rather than silently replacing the approved snapshot. Coach review cannot expand the player-approved audience.
Season Rankings. Where enabled, active Team players and authorized coaches can view accepted individual scores, player identity, rank, accepted per-round scores/statistics and dates, player/event totals, round counts and coverage for the selected season or event, and descriptive season comparisons. Configured Team counting lineups, scheduled rounds, score-count rules and per-round eligibility are also visible with published rankings. Show Rankings to Players controls member visibility; it does not verify school authorization. Coaches establish the school/team reporting authorization and enter or correct independently authorized official tournament and qualifying results. These team-associated records include event and played date, score, round length, available par, optional recorded statistics and coverage, source reference, and revision/review metadata. They do not require a personal-round sharing choice for each official score. Official-source reporting references and editing details are restricted to coaches. Missing eligible scores or stale counting rules withhold a Team total; dropped and individual scores remain in personal event totals. Comparisons show sample/coverage limitations and do not certify underlying skill improvement.
A player can separately review and submit a selected personal round for Season Rankings, explicitly authorizing its score and chosen statistics for current and future active players and coaches of that Team. Coach acceptance is required before it ranks. The publication stores the reviewed facts, a source reference and revision, player membership period, and action receipts. No other personal rounds, private notes, Mo conversations, health details, GPS traces or media are included. This choice does not expand earlier coach-only Player Results shares or authorize future automatic sharing. Eligible minors retain selected-item sharing and applicable school/guardian requirements; unknown or missing personal-sharing eligibility is denied.
Head coaches and assistants granted Team admin access can correct the Team copy of a submitted result, recording the reason, actor and time in its revision history, or remove it from rankings. The player can see the correction on their own publication. Corrections do not write to the original personal round or grant access to withheld personal statistics. Current source eligibility and withdrawal still govern that publication. Independently authorized official Team results, including managed-player results, retain their separate entry/correction controls.
Team Handicaps and net results. Personal handicap settings do not automatically report to a Team. A player can separately send a selected dated index and source for coach review, with permission to use reviewed net results in Team rankings. Head coaches and granted Team admins can also record independently authorized Team values, including for managed players. Reported official indexes, entered values and SkillSpot estimates retain their labels; entering an index does not verify its official status. Current submissions and source references are limited to the player and authorized coaches. Published net facts can include the round’s dated index, source type, course, tees, par, rating, slope, allowance and calculated handicaps. Coaches record reviews and reasons; snapshots and action receipts support correction and replay prevention. Later index changes do not automatically rewrite a round. Withdraw Handicap Permission in Rankings to stop subsequent player-authorized net use without removing gross scores or independent Team records. Retained audit snapshots are handled by Team-data/account deletion. This uses arithmetic without an AI-provider request.
Withdraw a personal rankings publication in Rankings to stop subsequent use of that evidence. Changed or deleted personal sources, ended membership and stale event links are withheld from current calculations; open views may show older information until refreshed. An independently authorized official team score can remain after personal withdrawal. Source conflicts are excluded for coach review and copies of the same round are reconciled rather than counted twice. Personal publications and receipts may be retained for correction, withdrawal history and replay prevention; supported team-data/account deletion removes subject records and handles remaining actor references through the existing deletion process. Rankings use arithmetic without an AI-provider request. Team membership, source and audience checks continue to govern access, including after departure or rejoining.
SkillSpot personnel with authorized administrative responsibilities may process team and account information to approve and manage pilot access, provide support, investigate misuse, and operate or secure the Services. Such access is separate from a coach's team-role permissions. Service-provider processing is described in Section 8.2.
School arrangements. Schools and other organizations may have their own obligations concerning participant information. Where we process information on behalf of a school, applicable law and any governing agreement may specify additional instructions, restrictions, and request procedures. Those obligations apply to the information and activities covered by that arrangement, rather than automatically to every item in your individual account. A school may separately describe its own collection and use of information. Contact us at privacy@skillspotgolf.com if you need help identifying which request process applies.
Crews and Groups. Private Crews are invitation-based; authorized members can see the identity needed for the roster. Public Groups may include eligible golfers outside your invited circle. Identity, progress, results, and milestones are displayed according to the feature and your applicable sharing choices. Membership does not expose your entire personal account, private conversations with Mo, private notes, physical-limitation details, raw swing videos, or unrelated practice and rounds.
Ongoing sharing. Authorizing ongoing Crew or Group sharing allows eligible updates within that scope to appear automatically. Saved defaults and individual overrides determine the permitted fields. Joining a supported program Group may include eligible existing progress from the personal attempt you select, rather than only practice performed after joining. It does not expose unrelated history.
Individual shares. Practice cards, milestones, and recommendations use the permitted audiences you review: eligible golfers who Spotlight you, selected Crews, or selected Groups. Saved audiences prepare future drafts and do not publish them. Score disclosure remains a separate choice. A current personal avatar may appear wherever your Connect identity is permitted, including eligible shared course scores; a team avatar uses the team audience described in Section 4.3.
Courses and country choices. Publishing a course score makes its permitted identity and scoring information available to eligible leaderboard viewers. Conditions reports can display your answers and played date immediately, even when yours is the only report, without displaying your name or exact handicap. A report may still be recognizable to someone who knows when and where you played. Saving Home Course or country preferences, displaying them beside shared identity, and including country in a Group summary are separate choices. Country summaries use their applicable minimum participation threshold; that threshold does not apply to every conditions report.
Submitted courses and scorecards. Approved course and tee information can become reusable in the shared Course Library, including supported combinations of tee cards or nine-hole setups. Personal scores and notes are not published with that library record. If you separately authorize a score or conditions submission for a pending course, it may publish after approval and current eligibility checks; a course request alone does not authorize every contribution. Authorized reviewers can see submitter identity and submission details needed to review the request.
External sharing. Sharing a scorecard image through your device is separate from publishing an in-app course score or conditions report. The receiving service and recipient control their copies. Screenshots or other independent copies cannot be recalled through SkillSpot's sharing controls.
The Services are operated from the United States, and information may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate.
A transfer does not remove the privacy rights or protections applicable to your information. Where the law requires a transfer mechanism, the relevant transfer must be covered by a lawful arrangement, such as an applicable adequacy determination or approved contractual safeguards. General acceptance of our Terms or this Policy does not substitute for a required transfer safeguard or a separately required consent.
Contact privacy@skillspotgolf.com to ask which recipients, processing locations, and safeguards apply to a particular use of your information, or to request information about or a copy of applicable safeguards, subject to lawful redaction of confidential terms. A provider's general availability in a country is not a promise that your information will be stored or processed only in that country.

You can also control certain permissions through your device settings, notification settings, and marketplace account settings where applicable.
Connect controls let you manage supported identity and sharing preferences, participation, individual shares, Spotlights, blocks, and reports. Course Sharing History provides supported review, correction, and withdrawal controls. Stopping ongoing sharing, withdrawing an individual share, leaving a Crew or Group, removing a personal result, and deleting your account are different actions. An independently published share may require its own withdrawal.
Settings provides a personal-data export for supported account records, including Connect and sharing information. An export may contain an avatar reference rather than the image file itself. Contact privacy@skillspotgolf.com for help obtaining information not available through the export or exercising your rights. You can also change optional product analytics in Settings; declining them does not disable necessary feature operation, access checks, selected notification delivery, security, billing, or abuse-prevention records.
You can request account deletion in Settings → Account Management. Deleting an account, uninstalling the app, and canceling a subscription are separate actions. Manage renewal with the marketplace or billing provider used for purchase; an account-deletion request does not by itself instruct that provider to cancel renewal or erase records it is required to keep.
You may leave a team through the available account controls and manage supported team notification preferences. Leaving a team is different from deleting your account and does not automatically erase records already held by the team or copies already delivered to other participants. You may contact privacy@skillspotgolf.com about access, correction, or deletion of information concerning you, including a roster record created without a SkillSpot account. Where information is processed on behalf of a school or other organization, we may coordinate the request with that organization as required by applicable law and any governing agreement.
Where Player Results is enabled, Sent to Coach in your Team Locker lets you review and withdraw supported shares. Withdrawal prevents the result from being returned on subsequent coach reads or included in current shared-event calculations; a view already open may show older information until refreshed. It does not delete your personal round or drill record or recall screenshots or other independent copies. Leaving the team ends coach access through your personal shares; detailed-round permissions do not automatically resume if you or a coach rejoins. Contact privacy@skillspotgolf.com if you cannot access a needed control or want to request correction or deletion of retained records.
We distinguish requests concerning your independent account from requests concerning information processed on behalf of a school. A school request does not automatically authorize changes to unrelated personal-account information. A request covering both categories may require separate steps or coordination. This distinction does not limit rights you have under applicable law, and our verification and response obligations remain applicable to the request.
We respond to verified requests within a reasonable period and within any shorter period required by law.
To exercise a right, email privacy@skillspotgolf.com and describe the information or processing concerned. We may request only the additional information reasonably needed to verify identity, authority, and the scope of the request. You do not need to create a new account to contact us about your rights. Where permitted by law, an authorized agent may submit a request; we may verify the agent's authority and your identity. If we deny a request, we will explain the reason and any available appeal or complaint route. To appeal, reply to our decision or email the same address with the subject Privacy Request Appeal. Exercising a privacy right will not result in unlawful discrimination; a feature may depend on information needed to provide the feature you request.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If a security incident occurs, we will investigate and notify affected users and authorities as required by applicable law.
Age eligibility. Where the updated age check is offered, we retain a pending adult-eligibility date while it is needed to apply age protections and recognize the transition. We remove that date from the active eligibility record in the same operation that completes the transition. An inactive account may keep a pending date until its next authenticated check or account deletion. We retain the original eligibility proof and a minimal later decision record for account operation, corrections and security. Such records remain personal information; a decision made on a birthday may still allow age information to be inferred. Account deletion removes these private account records subject to the limited lawful exceptions described in this Policy; backups and provider-held copies have separate handling.
Avatar images. An attached avatar is stored while needed for its selected profile or team use; it is not a temporary scorecard scan. Replacing or removing it takes effect when you save the change successfully, with a short Undo period. Replaced, removed, and abandoned-upload files are queued for scheduled deletion. Failures or backlog may delay physical deletion; expiration of an unsaved selection is not a promise that its stored bytes disappear at that instant. Deleting your account initiates deletion of personal avatar images. A bound team image is managed with the team's records and is not automatically deleted when the selecting coach leaves or deletes their personal account. Limited association, security, and deletion-operation records may remain as needed under this Policy. Removal does not recall previously displayed images, screenshots, or copies others independently saved.
Connect history and withdrawal. Withdrawing a share restricts its availability to other golfers. Limited internal records may remain to honor the withdrawal, prevent an older retry from restoring it, support corrections, investigate misuse, or meet legal obligations. In scored Crew Challenges, accepted results may remain in competition calculations after result-sharing withdrawal or departure, while named result sharing is restricted. Retained evidence can remain internally linked to the original result so corrections or removal can be applied; it is not necessarily anonymous to SkillSpot, and a small Crew may recognize prior participation.
Account deletion is separate from withdrawing a share. It includes removal or redaction of identifying links and reconciliation of affected Connect memberships, publications, course contributions, Spotlight and feedback records, and notifications, subject to applicable legal exceptions. Shared history may retain records with identifying information removed or redacted. Approved reusable course facts may remain separately from the contributor's identifying information. Previously downloaded offline views, backups, and provider records have separate handling; deleting from the active Service does not instantly erase disconnected or provider-held copies.
Leaving a team, removal from a roster, expiration of pilot access, or team archival does not necessarily delete team records immediately. We may retain membership history, assignments, team-entered results, published content, and operational or audit records as needed to provide the relevant features, maintain accurate shared history, resolve requests or disputes, protect security, or meet legal obligations. Access to those records remains subject to applicable role restrictions and team status.
Player Results receipts. Withdrawing a share restricts coach access rather than immediately deleting the stored share. The saved result snapshot, sharing/withdrawal receipt, and related review records may remain for your sharing history, corrections, prevention of replaying a withdrawn request, security, and applicable legal or school-record obligations. These records remain personal information and do not authorize continued coach access or broader publication. Supported team-data and account-deletion processes remove player-authored shares, subject to applicable exceptions and the separate handling of backups, provider records, and copies outside SkillSpot.
Copies of coach-created content already published to a team or delivered to a player may be retained separately from the coach's private source. Account-deletion requests are handled under this Section and applicable law; retained records may be deleted, redacted, or anonymized as appropriate. Retention of information processed on behalf of a school or program is also subject to any applicable written agreement.
Ending a school pilot does not by itself close a participant's independent account or terminate a separate personal subscription. School-associated records covered by an institutional arrangement are handled under applicable law and that arrangement; records held for independent personal use remain subject to the other provisions of this Policy. We may need to distinguish separate personal and team copies when responding to requests or applying retention requirements. The existence of a shared copy does not authorize indefinite retention of identifying information contrary to applicable law.
SkillSpot does not permit accounts below the applicable minimum service age. The minimum is at least 13 and may be higher depending on the user's country or region. Users below the age of majority where they live must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the Services. A coach invitation does not override these requirements.
During the account eligibility process, we use the date of birth and country or region provided to determine eligibility. We use date of birth for that decision rather than retaining it as an account-profile field. We retain the eligibility result, age band, country or region, applicable age thresholds, proof version and decision date, and, where applicable, whether and when the user attested to parent or guardian permission. The permission attestation is the user's statement; it is not a separate verification of the parent's or guardian's identity or permission.
Where the updated age check is offered, eligible minor accounts also retain a private date indicating when adult eligibility begins under the applied regional rule. That date is personal age information and, together with the age threshold, can reveal the date of birth. We use it for account eligibility, protective settings, security, corrections and related support. It is not used for advertising or product analytics, displayed to other golfers, or included in information shared with coaches or teams.
Older accounts may need a one-time age check because we did not previously retain transition information. We compare supplied details with the earlier age classification where available. This is a self-declared check, not independent identity or age verification. Inconsistent, incomplete or disputed details may require support assistance. Becoming an adult does not automatically publish earlier activity or expand its audience. Use the available account export and deletion controls, or contact privacy@skillspotgolf.com for access, correction or deletion assistance.
Minor team members receive restricted visibility protections. An existing account whose age eligibility has not been established is treated as age-unknown and receives the same protective team classification rather than being presumed an adult. A coach-created roster record without an account is also treated as age-unknown. Such a roster record does not permit a below-minimum-age person to create or use an account.
Baseline team enrollment does not collect a guardian email address or enable continuing individual coach access on the basis of verified guardian consent. Any future expansion of protected sharing would require the applicable permissions and updated disclosures.
Eligible minor players may send selected results to coaches through Sent to Coach where enabled and subject to applicable school and parent-or-guardian permission requirements. Detailed round sharing requires resolved account eligibility; an age-unknown account or a managed roster entry does not obtain expanded personal-round access. The current feature provides selected items rather than an ongoing personal-data feed, for both minors and adults. A sharing checkbox is not independent verification of guardian permission or school authorization, and a coach's adult status does not supply permission to process a minor's information with an AI provider. Joining a college team or becoming eligible for adult features does not automatically expand sharing.
Connect's Crews, public Groups, shared golfer activity, course-score posting, and conditions reporting currently require an eligible adult account. Age-unknown accounts are not presumed eligible. Permission for general account use or Teams participation does not, by itself, authorize adult-only Connect participation or public sharing. Any future protected experience for younger users would require applicable safeguards, permissions, and updated disclosures before activation.
If we learn that an account belongs to a person below the applicable minimum age, we restrict account access and take appropriate steps to delete or anonymize associated personal information, subject to applicable law and any necessary, limited retention for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or resolving billing obligations. We may update this Privacy Policy as the Services and our practices change and will update the Last Updated date.
Material changes will be communicated through the Services or by other appropriate means.
Where a change requires consent or another legal basis, we will obtain that consent or establish that basis before applying it. Publishing an updated Policy does not, by itself, authorize making previously private information public or expanding an existing sharing permission. Changes remain subject to applicable law and any controlling written agreement.

Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, your rights may include access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, and receiving eligible information in a portable format. You may withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis for processing. We normally respond within one month of receiving a request, subject to lawful identity-verification requirements and extensions; if an extension applies, we will explain it within the initial response period. Our contact and appeal procedure is in Section 10.
You may complain directly to a supervisory authority, including the authority where you live or work or where an alleged infringement occurred. You do not need to complete our internal appeal first. See the European data protection authorities or the UK Information Commissioner's Office. Legal bases and international processing are described in Sections 7 and 9.
Where the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, or another applicable state privacy law covers our processing, eligible residents may have rights to know or access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, and exercise applicable opt-out or sensitive-information rights. These laws have different coverage requirements and exceptions; this paragraph does not state that every law applies to every account. Sections 4, 5, and 8 describe the categories of information, sources, purposes, and recipients relevant to our features. Sources include your submissions and activity, authorized coaches or other participants, your device and platform services, and service providers supporting the requested features.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use optional injury or limitation information to target advertising. Where an applicable opt-out right concerns processing we conduct, you may exercise it using Section 10; Global Privacy Control and other legally recognized signals will be honored where applicable to that processing. Necessary service processing and an optional product-analytics choice are separate from advertising opt-outs. You may use an authorized agent where the applicable law permits and appeal an applicable denial through Section 10.
Voluntary injury and limitation disclosures can be consumer health information under state law even though SkillSpot provides golf guidance rather than healthcare. Where applicable, you may have additional rights to confirm and access that processing and its recipients, withdraw a permission, request deletion, and appeal a denied request. Section 4.12 describes the physical-profile information and its purposes; Sections 8 and 10 describe provider processing and how to contact us. An optional field or general Terms acceptance does not remove a separate permission requirement imposed by applicable law.
